I had the fortunate opportunity to work with Marvin Garden's Real Estate for my recent home purchase, and I could not be happier with the service I received. The team is excellent, responsive, and extremely attentive to the well being of their clients. Other brokers I have been in touch with in the past have given me a sharky feel - this could not be further from my experience with Marvin Garden's! These folks are personal, humane, and interested in only the best result for those they work with. The deal I recently completed was a complex one, and this team handled things with poise and skill. I felt taken care of the entire way though, and even after completing my closing, with last minute issues arising, I cannot feel better looked after. If six-stars were an option I would give it. You would do well to choose this company for your brokerage and real estate needs, I would swear on that in a court of law, and will certainly use Marvin Garden's again when I am ready for my next real estate adventure.

Dave is great! Renters left our home a complete disaster, but Dave was able to help us get it market-ready and sold in under two months. He definitely went above and beyond what we expected from our listing agent. From hiring contractors to staging our empty home, he took the stress out of a very bad situation. When it came time to list the property, he timed it well and listed it at the perfect price. We had multiple offers after being on the market just a few days, and we ended up selling our property for well over our list price. Dave Marvin is a great real estate broker. I ask him to put an offer on a property I wanted. He did not just put an offer in, but he went over and beyond to make sure everything is in order. He talked to the city, assessor's office, utility companies and others. During his property background check he came across an easement problem no one was aware of. He was able to clear it. I worked with Dave to sell a couple of pieces of "unsalable" mountain land. They were hard to get to, with neighbors that did not want anyone on the mountain. Needless to say, they sat for a long time while I decided what to do with them. Having known Dave for quite some time, and knowing that given the job he would rise to the occasion, I decided to give him the opportunity to sell the properties for me. The sale went incredible well, he took care of every exception item that came up, and in the end sold both properties to the same person. I was so happy with the extreme care that Dave took during the sale that I encouraged my neighbor, who was moving out of state, and had a property that needed a little (or a lot) of TLC before it could be sold, to list with Dave. Not only did he sell that property, he managed the rehab before it was sold, and was able to increase the sales price substantially over what was originally thought to be the market price. If you are looking for someone to go above and beyond, and give it everything they have to assist you in selling, or renting out your property, I would recommend Dave Marvin of Marvin Gardens Real Estate & Property Management, LLC. Dave Marvin was first my property manager and then my real estate agent when I decided to sell my rental property.
Dave was an excellent property manager. He went above and beyond to take care of the place. Minor maintenance got taken care of smoothly with little effort on my part. He found me fantastic tenants and got them signed into a long lease at the top of what I thought it could rent for. He responded very quickly to any questions I had.
The excellent tenant and long lease helped tremendously when I went to sell my house. I had shopped around for listing agents and they all estimated that they could sell my house for 340K. When Dave told me he thought he could sell it for 385K I didn’t entirely believe him. But I listed the property with Marvin Gardens. Within 4 days Dave managed to have my house under contract in 4 days for 385K. A full 45K more than any other broker thought I could sell it for. It was my first house sale and Dave helped me through each step. He was great at negotiating the inspection objection and giving me realistic advice about what I should concede on and when to stand my ground. Following his advice, we only gave up 1K in concessions which was far less than I thought I’d end up paying.
Overall Dave is a very genuine straight forward person. While I first thought he was just overly optimistic, I realized, he really knows the Longmont market and is a great real estate agent. He was able to sell my house for far more than I had dreamed. Dave is hard-working and direct. If you work with him you will get honest opinions and top dollar for your house.
