Founded in 2015 by  Real Estate Broker/Realtor Dave Marvin, Marvin Gardens was built on the belief that real estate doesn’t have to feel impersonal, intimidating, or transactional. With a background in both residential real estate and property management, Dave created a company designed to put relationships first—offering expert guidance and honest advice tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Meet Dave Marvin

Founder, Employing Broker, Longmont Local

Dave brings nearly two decades of experience in Colorado real estate, with a specialty in residential sales and property management. A Licensed Broker since 2008, Dave founded Marvin Gardens in 2015 after years of building relationships and sharpening his skills in both buying/selling and managing rental properties.

He’s a former member of the Board of Directors for the Longmont Association of Realtors and the former chair of the Independent Broker’s Committee. Dave has experience with foreclosures, short sales, investment properties, 1031 exchanges, water rights, new construction, and more. He is known for his professional, ethical approach and his dedication to serving people from all walks of life with fairness and respect.

Originally from the Buffalo, NY area, Dave graduated from the University of Rochester with degrees in Music and Modern European History and has called Longmont home since 2008. Today, he lives on a small farm outside town with his wife, Alison, three Colorado Mountain Dogs, dozens of chickens, two mules, and one three-legged cat. When he’s not working with clients, you can find him camping, hiking, stargazing, golfing, or playing music.
